Health Care Insurance - CareFirst BlueCross/BlueShield

The Research Center sponsors health insurance to provide employees and covered dependents broad protection against the cost of illness and injury, and to provide for preventative care. We offer several levels of coverage, including HMO and PPO plans, so that you can choose the plan that best fits your needs.

Voluntary Dental Insurance - Guardian

The Research Center sponsors a voluntary dental plan to provide enrolled employees and their dependents with additional protection against the cost of dental health care. Plan covers most preventative and restorative dental procedures, including orthdontics, at a reduced-fee schedule.

Fitness Room

Employees are encouraged to take part in lunch-time or before- and after-work fitness activities in our in-house fitness room. A treadmill, stairclimber, stationary bike, free weights, an elliptical trainer, rowing machine, and a four-stack universal weight machine are available for use by all employees. Shower facilities are located in the restrooms next to the fitness area.

No-Smoking Environment

In keeping with our goal to promote a healthy workplace, our office is completely smoke-free. Smoking is prohibited on both the grounds and inside the building. Employees who chose to quit smoking are eligible for certain cessation costs.
