• Seminars for Smaller and Startup Eastern Hardwood Manufacturers Scheduled for 2008 - 12/21/07
  The NAHB Research Center and the U.S. Forest Service will host a series of one-day seminars — Gaining a Competitive Advantage: Insights for Smaller-sized and Startup Eastern Hardwood Manufacturers —  to help hardwood manufacturers learn about emerging product-demand trends in the building products industry and how to respond effectively to these trends.
• NAHB Vice President/Secretary Bob Jones to Keynote 2008 EnergyValue Housing Awards - 12/17/07
  The NAHB Research Center today announced that Bob Jones, Vice President/Secretary of the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) and leading industry spokesman on green building, will be the keynote speaker at its 2008 EnergyValue Housing Awards (EVHA) ceremony.

  Thirteen builders have been selected as finalists for the NAHB Research Center’s 2008 EnergyValue Housing Awards (EVHA).
• Energy & Environmental Building Association Honors NAHB Research Center with Legacy Award - 10/23/07
  In recognition of the organization's 25th Anniversary, the Energy & Environmental Building Association (EEBA) named the NAHB Research Center's EnergyValue Housing Award (EVHA) program as one of 25 Legacy Award winners at its annual Excellence in Building Conference on Oct. 10.
• NAHB Research Center Awarded $2.9 Million HUD Grant to Conduct Landmark Study of Disaster Relief Housing Alternatives - 10/17/07
  The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development has awarded the NAHB Research Center a $2.9 million grant to conduct extensive research and provide recommendation on effective post-disaster housing alternatives in areas affected by Hurricane Katrina.
