OSHA-Funded Seminars:
Fall Prevention

A full classroom at one of the NAHB-OSHA seminars on fall protection on the jobsite. For the second year in a row, the NAHB Research Center and the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) are partnered to provide OSHA-funded training seminars on the prevention of falls on a construction site. The four-hour seminar on fall protection and prevention is targeted to construction crew members and anyone who is on residential construction sites on a regular basis. During 2007, over 1,800 people attended the seminars held in many locations throughout the United States. This program provides for high caliber instructors at no charge to sponsoring home builder associations.

Up to 40 individual seminars are available between November 2007 and August 2008. This program provides both English and Spanish language seminars. Each participant will receive a student manual and video on fall protection that were recently created by NAHB.  This is a great opportunity to help your members stay safe on the jobsite.
